At The Mental Fitness Company we know that your employees are your most valuable asset in your business.

The Mental Fitness Company aims to work with you to install a culture of Mental Fitness, where employees understand themselves, their power to take control of their circumstances and make conscious, positive choices that when life gets tough, move them back toward Mental Health and Fitness.

In our culture, individuals wait too long to admit to themselves or their employers that they are reacting to life circumstances and as a result find themselves mentally injured or ill before they seek a remedy which costs businesses time and money.

After a number of years working with small business employees we have developed a cost effective pay as you go package which can be tailored to you business needs.

The Mental Fitness Workshop

This education and training package is designed to provide:

An introduction to Mental Fitness, encouraging employees to learn more about who they are and how they respond to life – ideal for short seminars
A two hour workshop – ideal for Safety Days, or Mental Health week, to delve a little deeper into understanding how we as humans react to our circumstances and to understand how we can positively respond in order to move toward mental health and fitness
A 12 hour Mental Fitness Workshop series; designed to provide up to 30 people at a time all they will need in order to understand themselves, how their life has been shaped by their experiences and the power they have to make positive choices for their Mental Fitness.

The Mental Fitness Phone line

Your team have been through the Mental Fitness Workshop, or you may have trained Mental Health First Aiders in your team who have supported a colleague – what next – where can they find confidential help?

For a low monthly fee (based upon your number of employees) we will install a local landline phone number unique to your company which will allow your employees to call confidentially and receive an assessment call within 24 hours with a trained therapist where they will be signposted to immediate help where required.

For those who are not in crisis the phone system sets up a confidential paper trail proving that the call is from a company employee, which allows us to set up counselling or coaching on a ‘pay as you go’ arrangement. We will only ever charge for the support that is required, when it is required.

We will then act as the independent mediator encouraging the client to discuss their situation with their employer so that they can understand their context and where necessary make adjustments in order to maintain their presence at work or support them back from a leave of absence.

Where required we can also provide formal mediation services to aid this process.

Mental Fitness 121’s

Whether through self-referral, through the Mental Fitness Phoneline, or referral from your company, we will work individually with your team using coaching and counselling practices

Coaching: Looking forward not back, coaching provides the confidential sounding block for individuals to understand themselves and move toward Mental Fitness. Coaching provides accountability and helps to build resilience as an individual learns to take control of the things they can control in their lives and let go of the things they can’t. Coaching empowers an individual to grow and develop, to take on new challenges, build their confidence as well as reflect on their decisions.

Coaching is great for: MD’s, New Leaders, Rising Stars, Apprentices or those in your organisation who wish to live a more ordered and productive life. CoachingWorx

Counselling: Counselling safely explores life events that have occurred, especially those that have left an individual with unresolved emotions, trauma, or a lack of understanding. Counselling supports those who are ‘mentally injured’ and seeks to move them back toward positive mental health and fitness.

Our counselling is BACP Accredited therapeutic service designed to support an individual at life’s most challenging times – CounsellingWorx and can be provided on all private medical insurances.
